Here's some stuff I've been playing with lately:- 32-map megawad that starts with short, concise levels that eventually grow into extremely challenging and more complex maps. It also has a sequel that is possibly more highly regarded than the first. It's a lot of fun despite one of the levels being nearly impossible to complete (on purpose).- A really cool 20-map mod for DOOM II with new sprites and colors, updated menus and textures, and a new storyline set around Saturn.

Really cool level design too, it almost feels like DOOM 2.5. (Edit: It also has a second episode)- Makes all the animations in the game much smoother by adding extra frames to the sprites, adding some alternate death animations, and just the right amount of gore. Keeps the classic DOOM feel while making it feel more polished.- Doomworld user perkristian sifted through sound libraries by ear to find the original sources of as many DOOM sound effects as possible.

The result is this pack that contains remastered versions of 77 of the 107 original sound effects in the game. Ultimate Torment & Torture:Full gzdoom featured maps and its absolutely awesome.Since it uses all of the UDMF map format features, you'll need everything stay enabled in GZDoom, means you need jumping and so on enabled.
